ATLANTA, Ga. (August 19, 2019) – TydenBrooks, the global market leader in security seals, announced today the release of the VuBolt, their new ISO 17712: 2013 and C-TPAT compliant high-security bolt seal. This new high-strength, tamper-resistant steel bolt offers extreme durability in all conditions. The VuBolt also has anti-spin locking joint option to prevent friction attacks. Tabs on the bolt align with slots in the lock body to provide evidence of tampering from spin attacks. A clear protective cover is welded on the marking body to protect the serial number and markings from tampering.
Markings available for the VuBolt include 1D, 2D and QR codes. One of the big innovations on the new VuBolt is the over-molded bolt which provides increased tamper-evidence by allowing the human readable number to also be placed on the bolt. The half shells on the metal locking end marking body can be custom color coded, but the standard color choices are white, yellow, and orange. The color mixing of the bolt and the lock body increase security by preventing 3D printing duplication and product knockoffs. The applications for the VuBolt include rail cars, truck trailer doors, and shipping containers.
“The VuBolt is the perfect choice for customers in need of a high-security seal that is highly customizable and protected against tampering and duplication,” said Senior Product Manager at TydenBrooks, Kelvin Cannady.
